Kluane Yoga Retreat
The April retreat was enjoyed by ten happy Yukon Yogis.

I have been facilitating week-long Yoga retreats in Germany and at Kluane Lake for several years (see pictures of the one this April at the Baltic Sea) and found, that participants get tremendous physical and psychological benefits from practicing more often over a span of several days.
Another important aspect is the location; being away from our every-day surroundings gives us an opportunity to change our focus and pay attention to personal topics which we might neglect in our everyday lives. And spending time in a spectacular - yet safe and familiar landscape gives us a different and more long-range perspective on things. Being pampered by great food prepared by someone else is also a treat for many who usually do the cooking and clean up at home. And being away from loved ones for a few days and spending more time either alone or with like-minded people also adds to an all-round rejuvenating and reaffirming experience.

So treat yourself (and a friend?) to a tonic in pristine surroundings, not far from home, yet a world away - and reconnect with deeper parts of yourself.

We will practice Yoga three times each day including one hour of Pranayama (breathing exercises) in the mornings. You will have the afternoons off for anything you might want to do or be (resting, reading, walking, hiking, cycling, paddling, watching wildlife, lying in the autumn sun, socializing or in solitude ... ); your choice!
Check in again to find out when the next retreat will take place.
